Steering Column Assembly (Fiat Pininfarina 124 Spider 1973-85) - U8

This is a steering column assembly for 1973-85 Fiat and Pininfarina 124 Spider.  Does NOT INCLUDE IGNITION SWITCH OR KEY.

14mm "Small Spline" shaft.

If you have lost the keys to your 124 Spider, replacing the entire steering column is your only solution. Without the key, the ignition switch can not be removed from its housing without cutting / destroying both the switch and the column.

Note: This unit is not applicable to 1968-73 cars because of a difference in diameter of the input shaft of the steering box.

Also note:  6/1980 and later cars have an upper spring as shown in the photo.  Earlier versions did not have this spring.  Either style may be provided as supplies permit.   Units are interchangeable.
