A quality all metal heater control valve applicable to all Fiat and Bertone X1/9s (without AC).
Deemed by Fiat as the official replacement valve for use on Fiat 124 Spider and Coupe from 1971-85 (See photo)
All metal body (not plastic!).
Requires 2 rubber gaskets 4176872, between valve and heater core, and between valve and outlet tube, sold separately.

For Fiat and Pininfarina 124 cars, the original heater valves with a capillary tube are no long produced, and haven’t been for almost 25 years. This type of valve here was deemed by FIAT as the official replacement.
If your car has the original valve in place, you’ll need to put a slight bend in the short pipe of about 5 or 10 degrees to keep it pointed in the correct direction out the firewall opening..
