This is a complete differential assembly for 1978 and later Fiat and Pininfarina 124 Spider.
This is the hard-to-find Automatic version with 3.6 to 1 ring and pinion.
This unit has been confirmed to be a 1978.5-82 version unit which uses 24mm axles and 10mm ring gear bolts. It is identical in outside appearance and fitment to later units, and is interchangeable into 1983-85 vehicles.
Differential housing measures 48.25" flange-to-flange, and 53.5" between axle faces.
A complete assembly including axles, flanges, etc.
Condition: RECONDITIONED.
Diff housing has been opened to inspect gears. All internals rotate smoothly, lash has been adjusted, new pinion seal added. Axle/Wheel bearings are OK. No apparent issues with ring, pinion, spider gears or bearings.
Axles removed to fit fresh bearings and outer seals. Pinion seal has been replaced.
Housing has been cleaned and painted.
