This is a cooling blower fan switch assembly for fuel injected Fiat and Bertone cars from 1980-88.
This unit uses an alternate temperature sensor which will activate the blower fan at a lower temperature, 92 degrees C., as opposed to 105 degrees C with the original unit.
The fuel injection rail and fuel supply hoses sit directly above the exhaust manifold and simply bake during summer stop-and-go driving, or when stopped after a hot, full-temp run.
This item will help keep your fuel rail and hoses significantly cooler by activating the fan at a lower temperature, resulting in longer life for those components. A simple and important item to replace if you are refurbing your FI system.
