This is a Clarion e971 series digital AM/FM Stereo system, fitted as a dealer option on 1984 and later Fiat Bertone X1/9s and Pininfarina 124 Spider.

Made specifically for Bertone X1/9s or Pininfarina 124 cars, it has icon plates that can be installed into the unit next to the volume knob.

This is a cool piece!    It was absolutely state of the art in 1984/85. The advent of DIN sized stereos, moving away from 2-shaft format.

Digital MagiTune II, AM/FM Stereo Cassette, Dolby Noise Reduction, Separate Bass / Trebel, LED output meters, orange LED display and backlighting, with built in amp, two speaker output that plug directly into Clarion amplifiers of the day.
