This is a complete, New Old Stock 1500cc fuel injected driveline assembly, with Air Conditioning, as fitted to Fiat and Bertone X1/9 and Fiat Strada cars.

It is a 10-bolt, Fuel Injection style of motor, with 5-Spd transaxle.
This is a true New Old Stock unit that was supplied by FIAT Italy in the early 80s and has remained crated and un-installed since.
This assembly can be used to upgrade earlier Fiat X1/9s. For transaxle compatibility, a Series 1 X1/9 will need to have Series 2 upright / carrier assemblies, axles, shifter, and starter.
The fuel injection manifold assembly can be removed and carbureted manifold assembly fitted in its place with no issue.
This assembly provides everything shown in the photos, including:

All fuel injectors, sensors and aux air valve
Exhaust manifold
Thermostat housing
Alternator
Starter
Water pump
Air conditioning compressor

Unit is freely rotating, cylinders have been inspected with a boroscope and do not have any tarnish or flash oxidation.
The only thing that it requires to be started are fluids and a distributor assembly.
Also includes the following preventative service parts at no charge:
- 1500cc Timing Belt
- Engine Seal Set
- Transmission oil seal set
- Replacement high-pressure fuel hose

Yes, it freely rotates. No, it does not have any issues with the cylinder wall conditions. Yes, you should replace the timing belt and high pressure fuel hoses before installation. Timing belt included. Fuel hoses available separately.
It is recommended that the timing belt and high pressure fuel hoses be replaced prior to installation. Replacing the oil seals is not necessary.
