This is a cooling blower fan switch assembly applicable to all Fiat and Bertone X1/9 cars. Includes a temperature sensor with two spade terminals that will activate the blower fan at 92 degrees C.
This style of unit was applied on 1980-on Fuel Injected FIAT and Bertone X1/9s and bolts onto the cam box. Cut the bullet connector leads off your old unit and reconnect with spade terminals.
For carbureted applications, all X1/9s had carburetors with a threaded hole in the base to accept a small blower activation thermo switch that is no longer available. If you have changed carburetors from original, your new unit has no provision for such a device.
Use this thermo switch, mounted to the cam box near the carburetor, to activate the blower.
