This is an aluminum steering rack internal bushing that fits to the long-end of any Fiat X1/9, 128, Strada or Lancia Scorpion.
Stock bushings often disintegrate after use, allowing the the rack to rock within the housing, causing erratic handling due to excessive toe changes on the RF wheel of the vehicle.
The bushing is critical to keeping the "rack" rod centered in the housing.
Machined aluminum with precise ID/OD dimensions and three set-screws for keeping it securely located. A must-have for racing or auto-cross vehicles.
