A factory issue used steel crossmember used on Fiat and Bertone X1/9s from 1979-88 that has been structurally reinforced to prevent twisting or deformity under high-power or load usage.
This unit is intended for cars with higher-output motors as well as a major upgrade for stock motor X1/9s.
A must for any X1/9 with more than 100HP.
Supports the transmission and engine.
Mounts laterally between the passenger compartment and trunk compartment bulkheads.
Condition: REINFORCED
We start with a good condition used cross-member with no gouging from dragging cv bearings.
It is media blasted prior to TIG welding .067 plate steel to create a re-inforced box section in two areas of the unit.
