This is a reproduction fiberglass narrow engine cover as supplied on all Series 1 Fiat X1/9s.
Just 5 lbs compared to 16 lbs. for a stock steel unit. Great for racing, autocross or other competition.
Item does not have hardpoints for hinges or latches, and is meant to be fastened with hood pins and/or modified hinges.
Please note: Unit that is provided is one piece, in rough-finish fiberglass gel-coat, without vent openings, as shown. This unit will need to be sanded, smoothed and painted prior to installation.
Vent openings can be added by the customer as needed.
This unit is considered a Special Order item. No returns.
