This is a complete differential assembly for 1970 to early 1978 Fiat 124 Spider cars. It has been reconditioned and fitted with a new 3.9:1 ring and pinion.
Use this differential to swap into a 1978.5 or later car, in order to keep the speedometer and acceleration the same.
To use on later cars, you will need alternate brake shields, and shock absorber mounting brackets, sold separately.
Also called a "front loader" differential, as the entire ring/pinion assembly are removed from the front of the housing.
Note, starting in mid 1978, a different style of differential was used. Check yours carefully.
Includes axles.
Condition: RECONDITIONED
Fully stripped checked out, pinion and axle bearings inspected/replaced as needed, new ring and pinion gears, axle seals, pinion seal, crush sleeve, and pinion lash adjusted.
