Steering Idler / Hydraulic Damper Box (Fiat 124 All 1968-82 + 1983-84) - U8

This is a Factory OE steering idler / hydraulic damper assembly for all Fiat 124 cars, Sedan, Spider and Coupe models from 1968 thru 1982. Can also be used on 1983-1984 Pininfarina 124 Spider cars that were fitted with non-hydraulic units. Includes arm.

Note: These units do NOT have serviceable/replaceable seals at the bottom. After time and use, they will slowly weep fluid over a period of months or years until their reservoir goes dry.

When left dry for prolonged periods, the wiper seals deteriorate and the lower pivot stiffens. This results in hard steering action and accelerated wear of the lower pivot.

Condition: USED+INSPECTED (8 of 10)
These are good condition used units that have functioning hydraulic operation and do not appear to be leaking.

NOTE: Due to the non-serviceable nature of these units, you must check the fluid level prior to installation, and then check / top off each season as needed.
