Carburetor Weber 34 DAT w/Water Choke (Fiat X1/9, 128, Yugo, Lancia Beta) - OE

This is a Weber Italia 34 DATR carburetor applicable to Fiat and Bertone X1/9s, 128 SOHC, and carbureted Lancia Beta cars.

This item has 34mm chokes with 23/24 venturis and includes a 12V idle stop solenoid.  It is a non-recirculating (dead-head) fuel inlet system that does not include (or require) a return line.  As a result, fuel pressure must be regulated under 3PSI.

NOTE:   This carburetor does not include a water choke outlet fitting.  Depending on your model year or model application, you will need to install the fitting off of your existing carburetor.

The carburetor is fitted with jetting that will allow a FIAT SOHC car to start and run, but will require re-jetting to optimize performance.

The jetting recommendations below are a baseline which should provide good overall results. Please note that additional jet adjustment may be required depending on the condition of the engine piston rings, type of camshaft, and many other factors.
