This is a set of racing quality double-spring valve springs made specifically for SOHC and DOHC Fiat or Lancia engines; including those fitted to X19, 128, 124, 131, Lancia Beta, Lancia Scorpion and Yugo.
Excellent choice for high-revving performance street, auto-x or race engines.
Narrow wire double-spring designs work extremely well with conventional and higher-lift cams up to .430" without coil binding.
We use these in ALL our race cars with working RPMs to 9500 (and the occasional missed shift over 10K) without valve float.
These are cheap insurance on a trick engine build.

These springs will work with the original upper and lower spring retainers, they are a perfect fit.
All FIAT cars came from the factory with a single shim washer separating the valve springs/retainer from the head. When you do a valve job, or fit custom valves, you often change the spring “installed height” and should use a height micrometer to determine an alternate thickness of shims to get a the precise 1.414” installed height on the springs, which ensures exact valve spring seat pressure.
This process is a best practice for a high quality engine build, but in most cases, the springs can be installed “as is” with just the single factory shim washer, and all will be OK.
