This is a 5-speed transmission for Bertone 1500 X1/9s from 1984-88.
For gearboxes with late 18mm reverse idler shaft. Not compatible with 1979-84 cars that use a 16mm idler shaft. The piece includes both halves of the case, end cap, shift select rod, and throw-out arm.
Why is this item the same price as a complete core transmission you ask?? Time and labor to pull the internals. On the plus side, the shipping weight is approx. 1/3 that of a fully-loaded gearbox, so you save on shipping.
