This is a performance 2000 FI-style DOHC cylinder head assembly, for all Fiat DOHC 132-series engines. Includes new valves, high performance valve springs, retainers, fitted with performance 35/75 grind (for FI apps) or 40/80 grind (for Carb) camshafts and cam housings, correctly valve shimmed and ready to install.
For LANCIA applications, the specs are the same but proper core cylinder head and valve covers selection is required. Please inquire for these applications so the job can be properly specified.
Notice the size and positioning of the valves, they are larger than earlier 1.8L heads for better flow. Using this head with a set of higher-compression pistons will really wake up your engine.
Includes new oversize 43mm Intake and 37.5mm Exhaust valves, new Isky high-performance valve springs, guides and seals.
Because we use FI-style 1980-later cylinder heads, there are no extra EGR-related items to be plugged or cut-off.
Plus, the FI heads have the largest diameter, best flowing ports available for the DOHC engine.
The valves are prepared with competition-level preparation to the face and the valve seat, increasing flow significantly over stock.
Beadblasted and cleaned prior to rebuild. Cylinder head face, and cam box mating surfaces are all milled (5 cuts!)with mirror finish to ensure straightness and end those annoying oil leaks. Most shops don't do that. New valve springs, valve stem and camshaft seals.
