Fitted in the cylinder head.
M16 threads.
Reads temperature in head and sends to water temp gauge.
Note: on the Fiat DOHC and Lancia Scorpion head, there are 2 (two) water temperature senders.
Identification on DOHC:
Most always, temp gauge sender has red plastic cap and is located in the rear (firewall side) of head.
Most always, temp light sender has black plastic cap and is located in the front (nose side) of head.
