This is a fuel tank ( petrol tank / gas tank ) for all Fiat or Bertone X1/9 applications.   An exacting reproduction of the original, with size, shape, filler neck and upper vapor tubes like OEM.  
 
Introduced in 2014, we were the first to commission the development of an OE style reproduction fuel tank for the X1/9.  And we implemented the innovative "dual-use" design that enables the unit to support either Fuel Injection or Carbureted applications while we were at it.    
  
For use in Fuel Injection mode, the tank features threaded bottom fittings for fitment of supply and return hoses, an internal fuel surge tank, and filter screen, all critical to the correct operation of high-pressure, high-volume fuel injection systems.

For use in carbureted mode, simply install the included plugs into the bottom outlets and fit a carbureted fuel gauge sending unit. 

With this great feature, you can use the same tank if you choose to switch from Carbureted to FI application (or vice-versa) at a later date with no modifications!
