This is a 4-1 long tube unit in which the collector exits under the center of the car between the rear suspension pick-ups.
Made of heavy gauge 1 3/8" ID mild steel with solid 1/4" one-piece head flange for durability and crack resistance.
This item's length is tuned specifically for a 1500cc motor but shows great improvements on 1300cc engines too. In both cases it will give a big increase in low-end torque over a stock down-pipe arrangement.
Includes bung for oxygen sensor and stock 1 3/4" flange to connect directly to an Carb-style muffler on a stock system.
THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR USE WITH NON-AC CARS.
Please note: Mounting this item will require minor modifications to the manifold flat washers.. We recommend purchasing new, copper tinned manifold nuts and thick washers, available separately. (7x each required).
