This is a 5-speed transaxle case for Fiat and Bertone 1500 X1/9s from 79-84. For gearboxes with early 16mm reverse idler shaft. Not compatible with 84-88 cars that use an 18mm idler shaft, without modification. The piece includes both halves of the case. Why is this item the same price as a complete core transmission you ask?? Time and labor to pull the internals, plus many of the core gearboxes we receive are broken the same way yours is!
