A short-shifter handle/kit for any model year Fiat or Bertone X1/9. Precision machined from stainless steel, this item is crafted to slip over your cut-and-shortened factory shifter. Provides a precise slip-fit over the stock stem, and secures with two set-screws that are hidden from view when installed.
Allows any height to be achieved based on your determined cut-point. Tip is tapered and threaded with correct 10x1.25 thread, to accommodate stock or aftermarket handles. Check the multiple pictures.
1979-on factory shifter knob (i.e. Beertap) will need to be modified, with two inches of the handle base removed as the diameter of this adapter is larger than the factory shifter. Other "standard" replacement shift handles with threads at the base of the handle should work correctly.
