This is a 17 tooth pinion shaft, originally fitted to Yugo GVX with 5-Spd trans. Applicable only with 64-tooth ring gears as fitted to Fiat 128 or Yugo.
Identical in external appearance to Fiat Strada 17-tooth pinion, but has a different tooth pitch and IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH STRADA 5-SPD 61-tooth pinions.
Strada 17-tooth pinions have a hash-mark on each tooth, Yugo pinions do not.
