This is a freshly rebuilt 5-speed transmission for all Fiat 124 Spider and Coupe cars, 1971-78.
For cars 1971-on or motors with 215mm clutch, and 4.3:1 final drive as found in most B and C-series cars.
Not for use with 1438 drivelines with 200mm clutch.
Has ports on the main body case for pollution control sensors, but sensors themselves are not replaced. If you live in California and require exact pollution control switch arrangement for 1975-78 cars, please call.
REQUIRES 14 Tooth Speedometer Drive Assembly, Reverse Light Switch, and Shifter Extension Assembly. Transfer these items from your existing transmission, or they are available separately if needed.
The price shown is the base price for the rebuild.
A $150 core charge will be added at check out, which is returned as store credit when your original transmission is received by us.

All work performed in-house by Midwest Bayless. This box has been fully disassembled, and any/all worn components and all seals and gaskets have been replaced. Every item is inspected and measured for tolerances, and replaced if necessary, including bearings, synchros, sliding sleeves, gears, shift forks, shift rails etc. Case is media blasted for a super-clean appearance.
