This is a freshly rebuilt 5-speed transmission for Pininfarina 124 Spider cars, 1983-85. Uses a 15-tooth speedometer drive gear to match a 3.9:1 final drive ratio differential.
Note beginning in the 1984 model year, Pininfarina cars began using an engine / transmission pair with a slightly shorter input shaft on the transmission.
This gearbox has that shorter input shaft.
Will work in all other FIAT 124 Applications as well.
REQUIRES 15 Tooth Speedometer Drive Assembly, Reverse Light Switch, and Shifter Extension Assembly. Transfer these items from your existing transmission, or they are available separately if needed.
The price shown is the base price for the rebuild.
A $150 core charge will be added at check out, which is returned as store credit when your original transmission is received by us.

Note All work performed in-house by Midwest Bayless. This box has been fully disassembled, and any/all worn components and all seals and gaskets have been replaced. Every item is inspected and measured for tolerances, and replaced if necessary, including bearings, synchros, sliding sleeves, gears, shift forks, shift rails etc. Case is media blasted for a super-clean appearance.
