This is an auxiliary shaft for all DOHC 2.0L engines and late 1.8L engines. Notice the style of the fuel pump lobe, different than used on earlier engines.
May be of type that has additional oiling groove on big end as supplies permit.
MODIFED TO REMOVE THE MECHANICAL FUEL PUMP LOBE.
