This is a Factory OE temperature warning light switch sending unit by Veglia for all DOHC Fiat 124-series, 131 Brava, and Lancia Scorpion.
Fitted in the cylinder head. M16 thread.
Reads maximum temperature in block and if overheating occurs, sends to dash water temp warning light.
Note: on the DOHC head, there are 2 (two) water temperature senders.
Identification:
Most always, temp light sender has black plastic cap and is located in the front (nose side) of head.
Most always, temp gauge sender has red plastic cap and is located in the rear (firewall side) of head.
