This is a starter solenoid assembly for Marelli units typically found on Fiat and Lancia DOHC applications, 1978 on. Mounts to the starter housing using a threaded 3-bolt flange.
Has a piston with 10mm wide yoke.
Identical in function to earlier units 4267879 but requires bolts that thread into the solenoid flange, instead of bolts that pass through the starter housing.
Can be applied to earlier model years if alternate bolts are used.
