This is a set of cables for the trunk and engine cover release mechanisms for all Fiat and Bertone X1/9s from 1973-88.
Why pay twice the price from the "other guys"? With our braided units, never break or replace one of these release cables again!
Freshly made from 7x7 braided steel cable with correct sized ball end. Engine cover cable is 60". Trunk release cable is 80" long.
Both include aluminum crimping ferrule.
Just remove your existing cables and sheaths, thread the new cables through the sheaths, and re-install.
NOTE: If attempting to install cables through existing sheaths, the braided ends must be "sealed" with something such as epoxy or wood glue to prevent fraying as it is pushed through the sheath.
