This is a Bosch 70A amp, self-regulated alternator as fitted to late-model 1981-88 Fiat and Bertone X1/9s equipped with AC.
Can be fitted in place of Marelli unit on 1979-1980 for higher output. Comes complete with pulley, steel inner fan, and aluminum outer fan. Ready to bolt-on. You won't find other vendors offering that.
Uses a super-simple two-wire set-up (main lug to battery or starter, kick-line connects to switched +12V / black-violet charge indicator line). Shape of the alternator case makes this applicable only to cars with AC configuration.
