This is a pair of coil-over struts applicable to the rear of any model year Fiat or Bertone X19. They feature rugged KONI professional-series 8610 single-adjustable inserts.
A more affordable, yet highly effective alternative to our double-adjustable KONI solutions.
Also applicable to the front of lowered and race prepped Fiat 128 / Yugo cars (all models) and Fiat 128 SL/Coupe street cars.
Not recommended for 128 Sedan/Wagon street applications due to excessive lowering effect.
These are the same exact struts that we use on the Midwest-Bayless X19 race cars, now available for street or race car use.
With this package you can run spring rates up to 800lb / inch, and achieve any desired ride-height from stock, to race-car low.
Even better, you can also adjust your camber using built in, slotted upper bolt holes. No more fumbling around with awkward and hard-to-adjust camber bolts!
The strut housings are custom fabricated from laser-cut components and the highest quality DOM steel tube, 100% tig welded and assembled in the USA.
The struts inside the housings are KONI 8610-1436 single adjustable inserts that allow precision adjustment of rebound damping through a simple turn of the upper adjuster. No disassembly required!
All "single-adjustable" struts allow rebound damping to be modified to match the exact spring rate that is used.
A double adjustable strut also allows control of compression damping, which in most simple terms, is an adjustment that can add to the effect of spring resistance at a corner, which is usually unnessary for street applications.
Threaded aluminum coil over sleeves allow the use of any 2.5" diameter "coil over" spring in 6, 7, or 8" length.
Please call or email us prior to ordering to determine the necessary spring rate. We can offer the strut set minus springs (you supply your own), and subtract $75 from your order.
Compatible with stock upper strut mount or pillow-ball style adjustable camber plates. Upper strut mounts and upper strut centering cones as shown in the photos are not included with the kit.
