This is a close ratio steering rack of the style applied to Bertone X1/9 1983-On.
This rack has longer inner tie rod ends that position the jamb nuts outside of the body shell for easier access during adjustment that earlier racks provide.
Can be used on all earlier FIAT X1/9 cars if outer tie rod ends are changed to the late Bertone style.
2.75 turns lock-to-lock.
Includes: complete rack with boots and one-piece inner tie rod ends.
Requires 12x1.5 coarse-thread style outer tie rod ends and jamb nuts as stock equipment, sold separately.
Tie Rod Ends: For X1/9 use 5962775.
Jamb Nuts: Use 10791211.,
