Crankshaft - DOHC 1998cc (Fiat Pininfarina 124 Spider, 131, Lancia Beta 1979-82) - U8

This is a crankshaft for 1998cc (2000) DOHC engines, as fitted in 124 Spider, 124 Coupe, 131/Brava, and Lancia Beta cars through 1982.

Usable 2.0L crankshafts are very hard to find!   Because of how they were manufactured, machining a 2.0L crankshaft's main or rod journals to undersize will cut through the hardness layer, and the resulting unit must be heat treated or nitrided to re-harden those surfaces before being used, making it an expensive and time consuming effort.

This crankshaft has crank journals that measure within standard spec and is usable as-is.

NOTE:  May be Fiat crankshaft which has pilot bearing, or LANCIA crankshaft that has alignment bushing which needs to be removed depending on application.   

Has 12mm flywheel bolt holes and accepts the 1979-82 sized pilot bearing.

Condition: USED (8 of 10)
Good used condition. Journals measured within tolerance for Standard sized bearings, with no grooving or scoring.
