This is a fiberglass reproduction front air dam as fitted to 1973-78 Fiat X1/9s.
Fits between the fender-to-grille connectors giving a clean line under the front of the car.
Excellent fit and finish. Razor straight.
The mold for this item was made from a steel New Old Stock air dam.
Has correct spaces for speed clips for attachment of the front grille. Be sure to check out the multiple pictures.
This item will fit any 79-88 Fiat X1/9 or Bertone that is being retrofit for a bumperless look.
Note: This is not a direct replacement for the factory spoilers on 1979-88 cars.
To use this spoiler on 79-on X1/9s; the existing spoiler, grille, and side bumper flares must be removed; and a 1975-78 grille fitted instead.
Condition; NEW w/BLEMISH
New and unused. Unit has wrinkling , chips on folds on the gelcoat edges as it didn't release from the mold nicely. Can be sanded out before final finish. Our loss.
