A factory issue, modified hood for 1973-78 Fiat 124 Spider. This is the early style "double bubble" hood.
Uses early style hinges, spring prop rod, and early style hood latch.
The bulges are shallow and less pronounced than the later 124 2000-style hoods provided 1979-on.
This style uses a left-side prop rod and pre-1979 hood latch.
This unit has been modified to remove the center support and introduce vent louvers. A great mod for additional ventilation and clearance against the motor.
This unit also has a nicely repaired hinge point as shown.
