Differential Assembly Complete 2000 3.9:1 (Fiat 124 Spider 1979-82 + 1978.5, 1983-85) - RECONDITIONED

This is a complete differential assembly for Fiat and Pininfarina 124 Spider. It has a 3.9 to 1 ring and pinion.

This unit has been confirmed to be a 1978.5-82 version unit which uses 24mm axles and 10mm ring gear bolts. It is identical in outside appearance and fitment to later units, and is interchangeable into 1983-85 vehicles.

Applicable to earlier 1978.5 model year vehicles (originally fitted with 4.3:1) but will affect speedometer calibration.

Differential housing measures 48.25" flange-to-flange, and 53.5" between axle faces.

A complete assembly including axles, flanges, etc.

Condition: RECONDITIONED
A good, used condition unit that has been inspected and serviced.   All internals rotate smoothly, Inspected inside, with apparent issues with spider gears or axles.

Diff housing has been opened to inspect gears. Pinion seal and outer wheel bearings / seals have been replaced.
No leaks.
