This is a F/I/A/T Factory OE Bosch Germany made high pressure fuel filter for Fiat Spider, X1/9, Brava, and Lancia Beta cars with fuel injection.
A clean filter is key to good performance of your FI car, and it's a snap to replace.
Do not attempt to use a smaller filter intended for carburetor applications as a replacement to the factory filter. FI fuel systems can circulate the entire contents of your fuel tank several times in an afternoon of driving, picking up much more crud than in a carbureted application.
They are made this large for a reason, to allow mass volumes of fluid to pass through without clogging.
