This is a long tube header with stainless sport exhaust muffler for Fiat and Bertone X1/9s.
THIS UNIT IS COMPATIBLE WITH ALL X1/9s WITH RIGHT SIDE EXHAUST, INCLUDING THOSE THAT ARE FITTED WITH FACTORY AC!
Header and exhaust is made in the USA.
This is a 4-1 long tube unit has optimum 2" diameter collector and is mated to a 2" stainless exhaust system featuring a Borla XS stainless muffler with a stainless tip.
For enthusiasts who want optimum exhaust system performance improvement , with a lighter, throatier muffler system.
Exhaust pipe and muffler weigh only 10 lbs, compared to 35lbs for stock OEM system.
Header is made of heavy gauge steel with solid 1/4" one-piece head flange for maximum durability and crack resistance. It is joined to the muffler with a removeable, collar-style flexible union, eliminating squeaky and complex "slip joint".
Includes bung for oxygen sensor with plug.
This item's length is tuned specifically for a 1500cc motor but shows great improvements on 1300cc engines too. In both cases it will give a big increase in low-end torque over a stock down-pipe arrangement.
Please note: Mounting this item will require minor modifications to the manifold flat washers.. We recommend purchasing new, copper tinned manifold nuts and thick washers, available separately. (7x each required).

Fuel Injection Thermo-Time Switch (Fiat Bertone X1/9, Fiat Pininfarina 124, Brava, Strada, Lancia Beta) - OE BOSCH NOS
This is a F/I/A/T Factory OE Bosch Germany made thermo time switch which directs the ECU to control the cold-start air injection valve and cold-start injector on 1980-88 North America Fiat and Bertone X1/9s, Fiat 131, Fiat and Pininfarina 124 and Lancia Beta cars.

If your car has a hard time starting or holding a correct idle immediately after start-up, this could be the culprit.
Fires the cold start injector up to 8 seconds at -20Celcius to 1 second at +35C.

Bosch "Green Label" ECU ... part number 0280 000 190 (or) 0280 000 222 ... supplied through 09-83.
Does not have provision for an altitude sensor as provided on later cars but can be interchanged to later cars if needed.
