This is an engine short-block assembly for carbureted 1500, 138-series SOHC engines, as fitted on all North American spec Fiat X1/9s from 1979-1980.
This was block uses five 12mm head studs and five 12mm head bolts, and has provisions for EGR smog fitment on side of block. Includes engine block, crankshaft, pistons, rods, oil pump and oil pan.
This engine should be considered a "REBUILDABLE CORE" motor that requires a full replacement of piston rings and bearings prior to installation.
Condition: USED (8 of 10)
Good condition, rotates freely. Bearing condition unknown. Will require honing at a minimum, and may require overbore of the cylinder to remove imperfections.
