This is a fuel tank and sending unit for 1980-85 fuel injected Fiat and Pininfarina 124 Spider cars.
A faithful reproduction of the 124 Spider tank, which includes factory-style internal baffles and internal surge tank.
Baffles are a safety feature, and also keep the fuel gauge needle from jumping around during cornering and braking.
The surge tank is critical to keeping uninterrupted fuel supply to the high pressure pump.
Beware of budget reproduction 124 Spider fuel tanks which do not include either feature. We would never sell such units.
